How I See It

You were broke down a long time ago

A missing link in childhood

feels like masses against you

and gusts of breath ain't no fresh air

Just tragically passive aggressively

rolling eyes at the mistakes

that haven't occurred yet

Is that what "nothing" feels like?

Numbness isn't feeling "not a thing"

It's holding onto a pain

and letting it grasp right back
