What's love mean

when the only response is the echo

of self in the distance?

Vulnerabilities are the truth

and the truth is,

feeling vulnerable is hard

when the exposed wound does not

spend the night caressed by love.

Honesty is vulnerable.

Exposure is embarrassing.
